No sign of labor?

Question

Ftm. I am 39 weeks tomorrow and I have a very high, closed cervix. I don't think the baby has dropped, the bare belly pic is 36 weeks, and the black shirt is 38 weeks. I don't see a difference other than belly getting bigger.
I am discouraged. I am scared of going over my due date and needing to be induced. I've tried everything I can to try and naturally induce but it's just not working. And thay closed cervix is making me feel horrible. I get contractions but they are so not strong. :(

Don't worry me either 39.4 today... Not feeling pressure really. Just feel sick to my stomach for weeks

Same here. I'll be 39 weeks Friday and I'm only a half a centimeter. I have a feeling my little girl will make a dramatic fashionably late entrance  to the world lol. I told my doctor I don't want to be Induced unless it's medically nessecary so they will let me go up to 42 weeks. Good luck girl!

On the same page. Thinning with only small contractions every now & then. Not scared of induction, just hope she comes on her own & is ok!

Vaginal checks can be discouraging. I would say to stop getting checked and listen to your body! You can go from no dilation or effacement to full blown labor in the matter of hours...they mean nothing. The baby will come when he/she is ready.

Me too.  Been doing squats every day and walking and it's helped mine drop plus some dilation change.

I will b 40 weeks on wensday and been 2CM for 3 weeks. Doing the sweep on wensday hope it will work

You can go into labor so quickly. You have plenty of time before needing to get induced. I do understand about feeling like baby will never come though.

You could start dilating today and go into labor tomorrow. Try not to think about how much you've dialated because it literally means nothing. GL.

My cervix was high and closed for the longest time, and then my water broke at 38 weeks and 6 days. And literally two days before there was no signs of labor, cervix closed and high.
