Ttc and "still young"

Cassie
Today I went to see my ob/gyn for my yearly visit and to discuss, for the second time, my concerns about conceiving. I am 25 years old and have been ttc for a year and a half. Having been diagnosed with pcos see real years ago my cycle had never been regular and I told my gyn that I have still been experiencing irrgularity but that the past couple of months I did get my period. She told me that maybe my body is finally regulating and maybe I should restart the count of how many months I have been ttc. I cried. To me having a period for 2 months in a row is not a sign my body is being regulated, not yet at least. To top it off she gave me the typical "you are still really young" and "if you were 35 and we were having this discussion it would be completely different". Well I don't want to wait until I am 35! I want to be a mother, now. Am I wrong in thinking it would be nice if she would be a little proactive. I am not even suggesting or expecting to be prescribed clomid right away or anything but she didn't even offer to take any blood work or do an ultrasound to make sure everything is ok, because I am young. Is this all in my head or is it reasonable for me to want to switch to another doctor? Sorry for the rant. 😕
