When your water breaks

Question

Moms who have experienced your water naturally breaking, what does it feel like?! Pretty sure my water didn't just break, but I did just experience a trickle of discharge down my leg when I stepped out of the shower . Do you feel anything when it happens ? Once it does, do contractions start immediately? Or no?

I had just woken up and gone to the bathroom, walked back into my bedroom and felt a small gush like I had peed myself. I even questioned if I had peed myself although I had obviously just gone. Went downstairs and told my mom, hers never broke with any of the four of us. She asked if I was still leaking and I wasn't so she told me to sit down for a second and wait. After about 3-5 minutes I got impatient and said I was going to check my underwear again in the bathroom and as soon as I went to climb over the baby gate it stated coming out. It wasn't enough to get on the floor or anything. I was wearing Capri yoga pants and it didn't even leak down to my knees but it did just continually keep coming and at a moderate pace.

It will continue to leak, like a hole poked in a water balloon. I thought mine broke in my sleep but it was just a large amount of discharge, like enough to change my panties.

I felt the pop while I was laying in bed and a second later felt the fluid moving. It literally felt like a balloon popping inside of me. Rolled out of bed just in time--it gushed! And it continued to gush off and on for about 20 minutes. Contractions started within minutes and were about 8 minutes apart but sped up really quickly.

It can be a slow leak I thought mine was just discharge but baby had popped a hole in the bag. It's a constant trickle it doesn't have to be a gush. If your questioning it its best to go get checked

My water just broke for me Saturday morning, i went to go to the bathroom, and wiped and it all seemed normal, I took about 5 steps and felt like I peed all over again. I didn't feel anything pop or hear anything like what some people say can happen. I was having contractions before my water broke so I obviously had contractions right after it broke, but they slowly got worse..it took me a few hours to notice a difference in them tho..
