Membrane sweep and bloody show question

I'm 39 weeks , went to my appointment today and got a membrane sweep , at 1cm dilated.. when she took her hand out there were a bunch of pieces of mucus plug and she pointed out to me my bloody show. It was on her glove, I know membrane sweep isn't always effective but since I got bloody show does that mean I have more of a chance for something to happen. It's been 4 hours and just mild cramping
