Does an iud affect sex drive?

I got an iud put in about 4 months ago. Everything has regulated and i hardly cramp/spot anymore, but i have almost no sex drive! I recently got engaged to my boyfriend of 4 years and i want to celebrate but my body just wont get in the mood. Is anyone else with an iud experiencing this or is there something wrong with me?

I had no change, I had mine in for almost 2 years, but it almost was like it made me undesirable to my hubby.

I have the Mirena IUD and it made my sex drive the complete opposite!! I'm always in the mood!

When I had my Mirena put in my sex drive went from 1000 to 0. I eventually had to but toys to stimulate my clit. My husband would watch while I used it to completion and then we would have sex.

Mine was like that too. I got mine removed after 2.5 years but it does affect it. It's normal. Make sure he understands its not him it is the iud.
