Mid-cycle bleeding?

I've been having very irregular periods after I quit birth control. Shortest was 26 days and longest at 36 or so days.

Today marks cd20. According to this app, I'm suppose to be 1 dpo. It was redish mixed with some brown. The 1st wipe was more of the red then after that was more brownish.

I've never spotted before af. Could this be a good sign? It's currently 1am and my husband is out cold (I've been trying to find answers for almost an hour!).

Just trying to get a little input. Any one experience anything like this?
