What kind of delivery did you choose and why ? How did you heal?

More than one child and had one natural and one w/ epidural

Natural. I'm a massage therapist. I've worked with women in their 40's, 50's & 60's. Their #1 chronic complaint is "my back has never been the same since I got an epidural". Which increased my fear of the epidural needle/procedure for temporary pain relief...but there's also the fact that  I was told I couldn't bare children : 5 years later and  3 years of marriage- surprise valentine day pregnancy test- I wanted to really experience the birth. Found a supportive midwife, who helped me stay on my birthing plan even though I was induced. I figured, what the heck, let's get it started. 4 hrs of labor and maybe about an hr of those 4 was pushing, we had our healthy baby boy :)

Vaginal delivery with epidural. I was up and walking/showering after my hour of kangaroo time. No lingering effects.

Got an epidural 12 hours into labor and 5cm dilated, and my labor completely stopped for 5 hours... it was terrible. They finally restarted it wih some Pitocin, and everything ended up fine. But they told me later that I was THIS close to having to go in for a c-section because of the delay and the stress it was causing baby. I wont take that chance again... Going natural this time around!

Epidural. Life saver. Absolutely necessary for me and always will be!! No 'natural' deliveries for me!! I enjoyed my entire delivery process !!

I had a emergency c section n I got up and started Walking for with in less that 5 days - 1 week caue my first born was In The NICU
