Should I re-test?

I took a hpt on 1/7 (when glow told me to) bfn. Af due 1/10 still hasn't showed up.. Should I text again? I don't want to get my hopes up and I don't wanna keep taking test and be wasteful..  After my bfn I went and bought my first opk & I bought pre-seed for next month..
