When to start opks

Question

So I am on cycle day 7 and just stopped bleeding last night. When should I start taking ovulation tests? Should I start now or wait til cycle day 11 or 12? I have a 30 day cycle and usually ovulate on CD 12 or 13 based on cervical mucus but I want to make sure this month. Any info is greatly appreciated! :)

If you know about when you ovulate I say wait rather than waste them. I can usually tell by cm when I ovulate so I start my a few days before that. I did it once starting right after my period ended, and that was ridiculous- I ended up testing for over a week lol.

I have a 23-25 day cycle and I ovulate on Day 11 or 12 so I dont think you might ovulate till the maybe CD14/15, but Id start testing on the 11th. Fertile cm starts a few days before you ovulate anyway.
