Confused - implantation bleeding?

I'm 34 and TTC #1. I was supposed to get my period on Wed 1/13. I thought it might have come early on Sunday (4 days early) as I started bleeding Sunday. It's stopped today so only had 2.5 days when normally my period is 5 days (had been for the last 20+ years). I had slight cramping but nothing major and the bleeding was bright red and brown. Now I am utterly confused as I'm wondering if there is any way this could be implantation bleeding and I actually could maybe be pregnant?! We baby danced on ovulation day and I was showing so many symptoms I was pregnant (enlarged, swollen breasts, bloated, moody etc). I really thought I might me but I am so thrown off. Any advice? I took a pregnancy test Saturday and it was negative. So afraid to test again. All my husband and I are wishing and praying for is to be pregnant with a healthy baby! Thanks for reading.
