My little girl is just over three weeks old and is doing fab! Putting on weight and breastfeeding often etc. Not sleeping or settling very easily but other than that great. She has a little bit of a cough and cold. Often doing little coughs or several sneezes in a row and yesterday her nose was blocked which she seemed to find unsettling. I'm not getting much sleep and my husband goes back to work tomorrow so he will have to get more rest than he usually does tonight. I'm dreading being up all night already. The last few nights she hasn't let me put her down for more than a few minutes without crying so I've slept a few times with her asleep on my chest between my boobs .. As it was this or no sleep at all..! For either of us. Thank fully I have a supportive family who all love close by and my mum and husband have been great. God bless all you single mums out there. I have a new found admiration for you all - it's a 24/7 job for two of us at the moment ! Hope everyone is doing well. Any more experienced mums who can reassure me this all gets easier please do!
