What should i do?

Should i let my 6yrs old son see his father even though the father doesn't look for him or pay child support? My actual husband thinks I shouldn't let him see my son but im not sure if is healthy for my child because is not his fault !

If he asks to, I would set up a meeting. You don't ever want him to be able to tell your son that you kept him away and he wanted to be there. It's heartbreaking dealing with those issues, even as adult children.
Respect your husband and hopefully you can come to an agreement.

It is your sons right to know his biological father. Unless his father is going to bring harm in any way he should be allowed to see him. You don't want your son resenting you later for not allowing him to build a relationship with his father. It's best to let him make that decision as he grows.

You're implying should you let your son see a his biological father that has nothing to do with him.

I think there's many factors and I'm not best to lend advice on the topic since I've never been in that situation but I feel maybe if your son or his father showed interest that it wouldn't hurt for him to see his biological father. As long as his bio dad isn't physically or emotionally abusive then maybe it's not a bad idea.

I think the only potential down fall would be hurt feelings when your child gets to be more and more aware of the absence of his bio dad and potentially wonders "is it my fault" and that's where you decide what's healthy and what's not possibly.

As a child from the same position (split family) I think you should ask your son and respect his wishes. He may only be 6, but his opinion matters. If he wants to, set up a meeting in a safe environment, maybe with you there and let him see his father for a few hours.
As soon as your son decides he doesn't want to see his father any more, that's when he doesn't see him.
