Tear healing?

Question

Anyone else have a tear on there inner lip...? I tore one side in half. Dr. Said I needed about 4 stitches... I am just worried and wondering if it will heal and look somewhat normal again. Anyone else have this and how did it heal? I delivered on the 30th so tomorrow will be 2 weeks pp...

Same here! I have yet to look down there because I'm scared! Lol I'm sure we will heal fine - just take it easy :)

Thanks guys. I am 2 weeks pp today. It looks like it's healing... But stitches are still there and it almost looks like he should have put them closer together.... I have had a complete episiotomty with my 1st and a partial with my 2nd. Those healed really quick and I didn't have any problem those. The Dr wanted to do another partial cut but I said no... Not that I didn't trust his opinion but I was disappointed that he thought I needed one. And bc I said no, he took it as let me tear... Whitch isn't his fault... I didn't even think you could tear in that direction... Lol

I will be 5 weeks pp on Friday. I am healing well but there are still stitches on the internal tear.

Same here! Ripped a little on my right lip and got 5 stitches. A week PP today and it's almost completely healed!

Yes! It goes back to normal girl 😊👍🏻❤️ just baby it and don't push yourself! I'm 3 weeks 2 days PP and am fully healed and it all went back to normal! I ripped internally and externally and had A LOT of stiches...
