3 false tests

So I have been ttc for just over a month now, and I know that I still have a lot of trying to do, but I was supposed to get af on the 8th and she still hasn't shown up. But I have taken 3 tests and they have all been negative. Even tho I have this strange feeling that I am pregnant, I don't want to hold on to false hope just because I want a baby so bad. Has anyone else gone thru something similar?
