Question

Does anyone with children wish they would have been married longer before they conceived. My husband and I have been together for 4 years and married a couple of months. We are wanting to start our family but everyone hat already has kids is behind us to wait. I mean literally begging us toniest have fun and live life before we are "tied down" to a child. We are stable in every way just wanting everyone's opinions! What do you wish you would have done?

It depends how old you are and what your goals are right now. Not by how long you're married. My first wasnt planned so I wish we were more careful because we were really young then. But now weve finished school and have good jobs we want more. But im glad in a way because my daughters older now, and we're still young :)

I say let it happen when it is meant to happen. Don't try to stop it and don't rush it but let it flow. Have fun in between. Life is a journey.

Me and my husband have been together 4 years and married almost 3 in march. We were engaged when I found out I was pregnant, and got married 2 months after I had our daughter. I wish I would have waited so that I could have enjoyed my husband more. Like I love my daughter with all my heart, but I wish me and my husband had gotten a chance to really enjoy life and go on vacations with just the two of us before we had a child... But I have no regrets!

It's a very strange thing. My husband and I weren't even married for 2 months. He wishes we would have waited to get more settled and have more money saved up. But every time I see someone with kids, I want to just have them all now before I get too old!

EXACT same with us. Together goin on 7yrs married for 9months. EVERYONE said to wait as long as we could, because we wanted a baby right away. I can say I'm glad we didn't because of how much we've learned & gon through these first months married. So when it happens it happens ((: we aren't rushing anything.
