Push present, for him?

Question

I've heard recently about women getting "push presents". So a small gift from hubby, received after having the baby. But what about the husbands? Do they get something for being a good coach and supporting momma during labor? Would it be kosher to give my husband something for doing a great job(preemptively, as I don't have a child yet), or is that weird. Let me know your thoughts

I think it's ridiculous enough that a woman gets a present for birthing her own child,  that's just really crazy ridiculous to get him one. You should both be focused on your new most precious gift..  The baby!

Most men will be so grateful to you for going through the pregnancy and will watch you give birth to their child - i think its a lovely idea and shows how much you love your hubby but if you got him a present to give him in that moment, if hes got you something it merely equals it out and stops him from having the chance to appear grateful.

I would suggest maybe getting him something for a couple weeks after to thank him for being there for you during the birth and in the weeks that follow.

Plus if he doesnt do anything then you will probably want to kill him if this is what your expecting! lol

I love giving my husband gifts for ANY reason! So I would so yes! If he is an awesome partner and you feel like that's how you want to show your appreciation...go for it!! Men deserve to be spoiled too!!
