Gained weight since giving birth?

Question

I just had my six week postpartum appointment and I gained four pounds since giving birth. I'm breastfeeding and have been exercising. I'm so upset...has anyone else gained weight while breastfeeding?

Same boat here.... From my 2 week to 6 week visits I gained 4 lb. super discouraging.  With an infant and 3 year old I am lucky to get housework done let alone find time to exercise :/ I also am always hungry! Am trying to make healthy decisions throughout the day. Sometimes quick and convenient wins over healthy though :(.  Wish I had some more encouragement for you, I feel your pain!

I had lost about 18 pounds at my 2 week incision check and gained almost 5 pounds back by my 6 week check. I'm holding at that weight and it's kinda discouraging bc I'm exclusively breastfeeding also and feel like I'm starving all the time. I'm trying not to be too upset, your body holds fat when you breastfeed. I'm gonna try not to beat myself up about it until my little guy starts solids, then I'll put some real thoughts into dieting bc I don't want to compromise my milk supply now.
