Server pelvic/vag pain 40+3 wks labor?

I'm 40 + 3 wks and today and yesterday I've had the most server pelvic vagina pain. It hurts to sit, and when I'm laying down I can't hardly move my hips without crying from the pain. I know baby has already dropped and engaged since 38 wks the Dr said the head may feel like its falling out. I felt it then, but it was never this painful!

I've taken a hot bath and had a heating pad. Nothing is working.

I've had more contractions but to me they've never really been painful ones like my Dr described. I just feel my stomach tighten and they're hard to time bcuz I gotta feel my stomach to make sure its all hard and not just the baby.

What is going on?? Is this labor on its way??

I don't know if I can take this pain.
