Anyone who can get pitocin and NOT get an epidural is freaking INCREDIBLE! Pitocin makes your contractions suck soooooo bad!! 😖😖😖😖😖😖😖

I tried. I tried HARD. At 5cm I was shaking uncontrollably and couldn't even talk, the contractions were THAT bad. My husband is actually the one who asked them to give me an epidural. 😕 To show the difference, I went into labor with my second (without pitocin) and had no idea I was already 7cm when I got to the hospital, because I renembered what 5cm felt like with my first. It was then I realized how much worse the pitocin had made it! Good luck to you! I know some woman have done it! 😊

Pitocin hurts really bad!! Everyone I know that has had natural verses pitocin says pitocin makes it way more painful. I'm avoiding pitocin at all costs this time

I know and I'm so determined to go without the epidural mainly because it scares me! I have the worst fear of needles and the fact that its on my spine scares me even more :( but if I need it ill end up getting it because od rather face a huge fear than possibly hurt my boy! I'm due in 8 days and if I don't have him the 23rd ill be induced the Monday after

I did so 11 years ago. I had to get pitocin since I was not dilating fast enough. I had no plans for the epidural so went through 26 hours of labor without it. I was dilating a cm every 4 hours so after a while, they administered pitocin. I am planning once again to through with no epidural this pregnancy but hope I can dilate without the help of pitocin, it really makes contractions intense.

I've had completely natural labor and I've been induced and I can tell you being induced is way more painful than natural labor so you may want to get the epidural. I know I did.

I had to get pitocin because my water broke and 15hrs later my contractions were still ineffective. I labored in several positions and found sitting on the toilet most comfortable. Yes it was incredibly painful but I survived and I would do it again!
