Bleeding after being fingered.

So my boyfriend and I have been together for a while. I'm not a virgin but I always use protection, I'm on the pill right now so I know I'm not on my period. But he was fingering me pretty hard and then he realized his fingers had blood on them! I was extremely worried. This has never happened before.... Should I be worried? Please help😁
