Child for a husband?

MATURE LADIES: I feel as though my husband has more time for video games & buddies than for our daughter. He's a good worker though when he's at work. But when he's home he's lazy, doesn't pick after himself, always leaving dishes on the floor. I've brought up all this and he just thinks I nag him. But I don't yell at him. I can clean idc. But I feel bad that he doesn't spent time with our daughter :( breaks my heart. Leaving him is out of the question. Want to fix this, suggestions ladies?

My husband is a gamer too I understand it gets frustrating at times. Have you tried having a no game day. Like one day with absolutely no video games? Or tell him he has to play with your daughter an hour a day? I'm sorry but wives should never have to tell the dad to go play with his child :/ I'm really sorry. I know leaving him is not gonna happen. Worse case scenario hide his controllers ha I've done it before. He gets pissed but it gets the point across. OR, stop picking up after him. If he keeps leaving dishes in his little gamer spot just let them pile up, yeah it may be nasty but maybe he will get the message

My husband likes to play on his phone or play video games. Its his way to unwind and calm down. But he is still a great dad. He does NOT clean up after himself which drives me insane but then i think how hard he works for our family and how good he is to me and our daughter :) so focus on the positives. :)

At least he's home....if we fight in the car he literally ran out and walked home then blaming me for getting sick when he wouldn't get back in the car after I said sorry 7 times. Even nearly got hit by a car and closing off he's ears humming like a child, I lost my temper with that.....

I'm married to a man child who's mother won't let him grow up, she babies him so bad and even lives with us. 28 years old and everytime he doesn't get what he wants he runs literally runs out and pouts for hours, I'm at my wits end with that bs.....

Mine was like that. One night while doing the dishes my two year old screaming at my feet and my then two month old screaming in her swing while he was sittn right next to the two month old playing his games I looked in and said " hey get off your lazy ass and pick her up I'm f***n busy in here!" after dishes were finished and toddler off to bed I stormed off to smoke and he followed me asking why I flipped out and it was then that I explained about his games vs the children I haven't had a problem since. Maybe talk to him hun. Explain to him how u feel.

No grown man should put his partner in a position where she has to negotiate with video game time like he's her 10 year old son. Was there behavior like this before you married him and had a child with him? My coworker has the same stipulations for her children that some wives are proposing... "An hour of _____ then you can play your games" or "Sunday is family day, with no games or screen time" or "no eating in the living room, because you can't clean up after yourself". Do women genuinely sign up for marriages like this, or do these things not start until it's too late for you to bail?
