Would you stay in a loveless marriage for the sake of your kids?

Depends. If the love is lost due to abuse and infedelity than no I wouldnt stay. If its due to communication, sex drive and petty things than ya Id stay and try to get the love back by solving my problems. I've been married for 11 years, been through it all. People these days are too quick to quit.

As a child whose parents divorced when I was 10 due to falling out of love... No one should!! Happier parents = happier children, don't stay together.

No I wouldn't my parent split but they still acted as friends and would come around during holidays and birthdays they never did the separate holiday thing when we were little...they still are very nice to one another but remarried and happy...I am sad they broke it off cause I love my family being together but it's better for both of them to do what they did and in the end it would have been better for us...healthy relationships create a healthy home and unhealthy relationships create an uphappy home just my opinion:)

My parents stayed together until I was 14 because my father thought it was the right thing to do. After 14 years he finally grew a backbone and left my mother. He spent the first 3 years after their divorce in solitude consistently thinking of suicide. He has officially been with my stepmother 7 years and I am so proud of his decision! So, no, I wouldn't. It's unhealthy and doesn't benefit the children in any way.

Nope never. Kids can be happy and healthy with seperated parents. I fully believe that it's worse to stay in an unhappy marriage for the sake of kids. Kids notice things. They're gonna know you're unhappy. They don't need to grow up in a house with two people who don't love each other and may fight/argue or whatever else in front of them.

I'd leave. My mom gave me a great childhood all by herself, and if she could do it so can I! Of course I'd try to make things work but I wouldn't drag it out and make everyone miserable just to keep up appearances. Kids just want their parents to be happy. my dad beat my mom and I would nevvvver have wanted her to stay in that environment!
