How many days does periods usually last?

Okay so I've been told that periods usually last for 7 days. But as far I'm concerned of my periods the blood come out till 5 days and the rest 2 days meaning (6&7) I don't even see blood but I do see brownish type of color on my pad. Does that count as periods?

The brown blood is the oldest blood coming away so yes it's still classed as your period. Every women is different periods can range from 3-9 days, my longest period was 8 days long. Everyone's different

My period usually lasts around 4 days on average. Could be as short as 3 and as long as 5-6 ... But those are a rare occurance for me though.

No matter the color of my period I isually classify it as af until I see nothing left is when I would say my period is done.

For me af is red and heavy for 2 days, on the 3rd day it is brown and light, then on 4-6 day it's back to red, 7th is brown and light. So I say my period is 7 days I do not exclude the 3rd and 7th day just because it's brown..

Mine are normally 3-4 days, but I have a friend that has them for 9-12 days. It all varies based on the individual.
