I have PCOS. I just had my baby girl 7w ago and I'm not looking to have another baby for a few years, and I don't want to use condoms with my husband for two years. Tried the pills when I first got married and almost ruined my life and new marriage. So we just used condoms until we decided to TTC after almost a year. Turns out I couldn't get pregnant on my own anyway, and it took 11 months and a round of Clomid to get pregnant. I was diagnosed with PCOS a year ago this month, but right after that I had to switch doctors because of insurance. When I had my first OB visit with the new doctor I told the nurse I had PCOS and she didn't even know what it was. Anyway, I started my period today on my own (yay!) and my my 6w post partum check up, dr decided that Paragard was best for me. But before we could discuss anything else, he was called into delivery so I couldn't ask any questions (he didn't even exam me for my PP check up). So my question is, would it still be safe to use Paragard with PCOS? I go in on Monday to sign papers, but dr isn't in Monday's and Friday's.
