I'm 26 and this is the first year I'll vote. Before, it was like having to choose between who will fuck me over - because both candidates would - they'd just go about it in different ways. So I never voted.

But this year I will because Bernie is the type of candidate I've been waiting for, and I'll be damned if Hitler wins.

This is my second time I'm voting, and I'm really excited.

To all the people who said no: you don't have to vote for a candidate. You could write in someone. At the very least, though, we should have more people voting. Why? To show that this country actually cares. Did you know that statistically there are more Democrats in the U.S. than Republicans, but Democrats don't vote as often? If you at least put your party down and then make up a name, or say neither of the candidates (different states have different forms, so obviously if your state allows this), it will make it so there is a more accurate representation of parties, so maybe the next time we vote, it'll be better.

I am excited to vote for Bernie! He's the man! How ever if he's not on the ballots I will vote for whoever the democratic candidate is. I've seen people say they would write Bernie in and that's not wise. Many people are not even aware that you can do that so basically by doing that you're throwing away your vote sorry to say. And we need as many votes against trump as we can get. So as much as I don't like Hillary I'd vote for her if it came down to it to keep trump out of office
