I had school that day every year throughout high school. Then I went to a private Lutheran based college and we had the day off.

In Mass no but NH yes. And I have to work tomorrow

I came from a small town and we did. But we did special activities on that day.

Unless we happened to have a snow day that day we had school. When I was in college however we didn't have class. So that was nice.
