You don't clean your vagina which is the inside. It cleans itself. Douching is bad for the ph balance and you shouldn't do it ever. Now you can clean the outside with soap and water.

I just use warm water and a cloth. I was told not to use soap or body wash or anything because it messes with the natural ph balance and the vagina is a self cleaning thing anyway. Also soap and stuff stings like a mother.

You don't need to clean your vagina. Any discharge that you may experience is the result of your vagina cleaning itself. It's an internal organ and a truly remarkable self-regulating machine.

As long as you do not have any sort of infection, everything internally is handling itself just fine, and interfering with this process can cause the whole system to go wonky.

As for your vulva, just plain old fashioned clean water will do the trick. Soap can throw off your pH, so it's best to avoid it, even if it claims to be pH balanced. Unless you are particularly sensitive, it's perfectly fine to use soap on the pubic mound, and everything will be just fine if some soap happens to run down into your labia, but you really shouldn't be actively scrubbing your genitals.

I have a few medical problems that cause my ph to always be off which leads to oder especially after my period. If that's your problem use Summer's Eve. I love it and my husband loves the smell, plus it makes great shower lube 😂

I use soap and water, only on my vulva.  I don't go inside my lips or into the vagina of course cuz that shit would sting!  I've never had issues with infections or odors or anything so I assume my ph balance is fine.  I've also never douched cuz I hear it's really bad for you!

The only thing I will do sometimes is when I'm on my period, I might use the shower head to spray up into my vagina.  Almost like a douche I suppose but it's just water.  No soap or other cleaning product, I just feel like it helps clean out some blood that's stuck in there and I can get it out in that shower instead of leaking it onto a pad or tampon.  I always use cool water when I do it cuz warm or hot water really irritates my whole area.  I don't suggest this cuz I don't know how good it is to do that, but personally I've never had any vaginal issues.  No infections, no odors, no weird discharges, no itching or burning, so I figure it can't be that bad for me!

Just water because if you use soap in the inside can cause your Ph balance to be all over if you wash the inside use baby soap it's the best remember your vagina clean it self with the discharge
