VBAC (Vaginal Delivery After Cesarian) Advice
Ok so I'm looking for advice from women who have had first hand experience with having a VBAC. I want this information so I can make the decision of having my second child either as a VBAC or if I should go the Cesarian route again.
My first born had to be a cesarian as she was frank breeched, this will be going on about 3 years ago once I have my second baby in July/August.
I've talked to my Obgyn previously about doing a VBAC and I said no. Now I'm thinking about it long and hard and at a crossroad thinking about the benefits of me having a natural birth instead and how much I really want to have that experience.
It's just scary thinking about that slim and minor chance it won't succeed and I will end up having to have an emergency cesarian anyway.
So ladies my questions are of course have you had a VBAC? and would you do it again? Or would you do a cesarian instead?
I know labor sucks in the first place but did you end up having any complications due to the fact you had a VBAC? And what time frame was in between your cesarian and VBAC?
And you can add anything else advice, opinions, words of wisdom or comfort are all appreciated.
I really appreciate anything you all can tell me and I know every woman experiences these things differently but I believe it will help me when I go talk to my Obgyn on my next appointment and with me making a decision.
Thank you in advance.
