Husbands middle name

My husband wants to give a son his first name as its middle name. That's  a tradition in his family. I have few issues with it:  
-I am named after my father, I have always thought it was very narcissistic
-The name we picked doesn't flow with my husband's name "Rowan Kellan" 
- I want my son to be named after my  cardiac surgeon who does my heart surgeries  "Rowan Thomas"
