Help? What is my two year old saying?

So it's been driving me insane. Everytime my son sees a railroad crossing or sign, he says "dun dun". Or something like that. (He's only 2) he loves trains. He watches Thomas the train all the time!!! So any guesses?!! I am stumped and he's Ben saying it for a long time!
I know this don't belong here but....

Maybe he's saying Duncan? He's one of the trains.

Probably he means the tinkle of the train. If he watches TV he knows trains only while tinkling.
