Uterine rupture? VBAC? I'm so scared.

Chandra
I'll try to make a long story short here.
In November of 2013 I had my baby girl via emergency c section. I got induced at 39 weeks (stupid me) and after 2 rounds ofpitocin and being in the hospital induced for almost 3 days, I was only at 4cm. They broke my water to try and speed things up. My baby not ready and I had to have an emergency c section. They didn't tell me to get out of bed until two days later (omg right?!?!) so I was extreamly sore and in a lot of pain. I went home on day 4. At my 1 week pp checkup my incision was healing fine and I thought I was just normally sore. About a week later my scar was still sore and hot and a little red but looked good so I thought it was just from my pants rubbing it or something. My scar busted open about 2 cm and the blood poured. I went to the doctor the next day and she informed me that my incision was infected from the inside out and that the infected was 4cm deep and about 12 cm wide hollowed out on the inside. My outside incision had healed so it was just trapped inside. I had to have a home Heath nurse come to my house every day for about 3 weeks and clean, pack, and dress my wound. It is still sore sometimes and besides my scar being huge and thick, is pretty normal. I'm still numb the entire length of my scar.  I'm worried since I had such a bad infection that my uterus is badly scarred and might rupture. I know the risks of uterine rupture is about 5 in 1000 for Normal previous c sections. Do you think my case makes it more likely? The outside part of my scar is getting wider and thicker the farther along I get. I'm almost 24 weeks now and freaking out. I want a normal vaginal birth more then anything. I even want it with no premedication or epidural. But I'm afraid I'm going to have some problems and lead to ANOTHER emergency c section. Any help or insight or statistics or stories would be helpful.
