Late ovulation?

Ok so I am on my second cycle of clomid. 100 mg days 3-7. I have to take provera for a few days before hand so that I will start a period. Last month I didn't ovulate. This month I started taking ovulation tests on CD6 (I know way too early). Up until Sunday it was just the control line. A second line finally showed up, it's very faint, so it's still not a positive ovulation test, but there's hope right? Went to get my day 21 levels done and they obviously said I didn't ovulate. The nurse wants me to take the provera starting this week so I'll start a period and they want to up my dose of clomid. Here is my question: should I wait to see if I ovulate? The lines are very faint, but I don't want to discount an ovulation if it's going to happen...
