Blocked tear ducts ?

My babies eyes are so bad he can't even open them, I have to clean them every five minutes and the washcloth irritates his skin. Any suggestions?

Both my kids had this. They are now 3 and 4. It lasted about a month and breast milk seemed to help but really it was a matter of waiting it out. The doctor didn't do much.

Take them to the doctor. I had a blocked tear duct when I was a baby. They had to actually go in and do something to unblock it cuz it wasn't going to go away on its own

Put breast milk in his eyes.  I know crazy but that what the doc said and it works.  Also try a q tip.  Wet or dry carefully.

It sounds like he might need some antibiotic drops if they're that gunky. I'd see you pediatrician
