Stella & Dot-business advice?

Hello! This may not be super controversial, but it has the potential so please help! I am absolutely obsessed with Stella & Dot and the jewelry that they have, so I don't feel weird at all about the product quality, but I feel weird trying to sell to friends. How can I go about this in a non-annoying way? I don't want to be THAT friend who is constantly wheeling & dealing but I do want to be successful with this. I really do think their products are gorgeous, so again, I don't feel weird about selling bad product. I just want a little side hobby to focus on now that I'm a new mom 😊 Anyone in sales have advice? Any other Stella & Dot stylists?

Just from personal experience I hate when my friends so these home businesses because I feel obligated to attend their parties and spend money. It starts to feel like hanging out is just business to them if that makes sense? Maybe try to focus on not selling to your friends and just letting them know you do sell and focus your sales outside our close inner circle :)

I can't help you.  I unfriend or hide posts online from people who do these kinds of things.  Really not my cup of tea.

I'd say if you have a social circle you feel would be receptive go for it. But I treat all invites and posts like spam email.

Hire a stall at a local market and sell your product there. That way if people are interested they can come to you instead of you coming to them.

The people who I see being successful (and not annoying) are those who make the posts personal and don't act like they are selling anything. In your case, you could post a photo of your new piece of jewelry with a comment like "love my new earrings" or "can't believe these were on sale, so cute!". If people are interested they will ask. In my experience no one likes feeling pressured by those businesses.

Also, I think the biggest turnoff is when people talk about the business and income potential instead of the great product. That's my first clue they are in it for money and not because the product is awesome.
