Is it too late? C-section @ 39w due to complete placenta previa

So I have two doctors the one I have been seeing before I conceived said it dangerous if we wait till 39w what if labour start but the one I'm seeing now want it done on 39w pls what do you think? Can someone pls share her experience or advice, thanks

39 weeks is 1 week off full gestation.  In your circumstances I would do it. 
I have read so many woman at 36 weeks wanting their little ones out!
These last few weeks are so important for development. 
39 weeks in my eyes is ok.

My doctor is having me wait until I am 39w to have my C-section

My c section is scheduled for 39 weeks and 2 days. I was almost a week late with my daughter so I don't suspect early labor this time. Plus, as miserable as I am I'm glad he will have as much time as possible to keep developing and growing properly.

Most docs try and wait until after 39w to go the surgery but I would trust the doctor doing the actual delivery
