Contractions?

Hello! 35w today. Long story short, I was in L&D at 32w4d with preterm contractions, but they were able to stop them. Then on Monday I had to go back to L&D at 34w5d because he was barely moving, everything is fine, but they checked my cervix and I was 2cm dilated and 60% effaced. I went to my OB yesterday(34w6d) and he rechecked and I was already up to 3cm in less that 18 hours. He's expecting the baby to come any day over the next week or two. My question is, will the contractions when they come feel the same as the ones from 32w4d? I'm terrified I won't know it's happening. FTM so any help GREATLY appreciated! Thank you!
