Hey girls can y'all give me some info on what food are good and witch ones are not. Also on how much to eat out of the certain foods. I'm new to this and nerves .

Definitely avoid raw meats, including raw fish. If you're going to eat fish, stick to salmon and others low in mercury (try to avoid tuna). Limit caffeine as much as possible. Avoid raw sprouts, undercooked eggs, and unpasteurized foods/juices. They also say to avoid hot dogs and lunch meat because they can contain listeria, a bacteria that is very dangerous to pregnant women. Also make sure you wash fruits and veggies really well!

I know its not a food but the only headache medication that is safe during pregnancy is acetaminophen (like Tylenol).   I try to avoid it but migraines happen (especially now) so its good to know.
