First month on Clomid

I go tomorrow to have blood work done. If it shows that I'm not pregnant then I start provera to bring my cycle. I'm supposed to start clomid on the fifth day of my cycle. I'm excited to start it but I'm really nervous! What can I expect the first month? I've heard this pill is like the devil lol. How bad is it really?
