Have you had Sleep paralysis before?

And if so What do you remember about it? (My mom thinks I'm making it up how terrifying it is)

The first night I slept in my Pappy's room after he passed away (moved in to help grandmother) I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn't move. Then I heard my grandfather say "Don't be scared, you're okay. I'll see you again soon." Freakiest. Shit. Ever. Never happened before that, and never happened after.

I had it almost every night when I moved by myself for the first time. I was scared of the dark so I slept with a lamp on in my apartment. But when I would "wake up" and see that lamp off..... I knew some scary weird s***  was about to happen!! But I realized my triggers (late night eating and sleeping on my back).. Ever since I started side sleeping it stopped.🙌🙌

I've had lots of different experiences with it but is be here all night if I told you, I honestly wouldn't wish it on my worse enemy , it's horrifying x

I remember I couldn't breathe or move. I could feel my heart hammering out of my chest and I couldn't move my eyes from one spot. It felt like eternity just laying there, helpless.

I felt like someone was holding me down adding pressure to my chest. God.

I changed how I sleep since then, it never happens on my side.

I have had many. One of them was in dream I was laying on floor between my bedroom and the hallway and someone kept talking to me in a really scarry creepy voice but I couldn't see them. I couldn't move all I could do was wisper. I woke up and I couldn't move and freaked the fuck out.  I called my boyfriend and woke him up so he would video call with me and sleep with me. Another time it was an aweful dream and someone kept calling and saying scream into the phone in a really scarry voice that creeped me out a lot. And I again woke my boyfriend and was to scared to sleep for 3 more hour it's terrifying

FUCKING one of the most terrifying things... Omg I thought I was trapped by someone before and I couldn't move. Woke up finally and freaked the hell out.
