What was your hospital tour like?

Like what all did they show you?

I was shown a labor/delivery room, postpartum room, operating room, and an extended NICU tour because my baby will need it. Also main desk and waiting area.

We saw the delivery rooms, recovery rooms, shown where triage was, where NICU was, where to park/what doors to use, which elevators to direct visitors to, etc. Talked about a lot of hospitals policies and procedures.... Very helpful.

I just went in today. All they showed was a room that was like the one I would deliver in. A place where family can go and get water and coffee and what not then she showed me the other wing where baby and I would be moved after delivery and another place for family and visitors to hang out and how to get into the birthing center after hours instead of going through the ER. It was really basic.
