Anyone else heard of eggplant Parmesan inducing labor?

My mom and step mom swear by it and say that I need to try eating it then have sex and the baby will come. I'm 39+1 and willing to try it but I was just wondering if my family is just crazy lol.

There's a restaurant around here that's famous for it. I tried it twice with both of my two previous pregnancies. Never worked.

I had a friend that swears by this. She ate it for 2 days before her water broke. I'm not sure if there is any science behind it but I'd much rather eat eggplant parm than drink castor oil lol!
