Baby shower on Valentine's Day??

Would it be a good idea having a baby shower on Valentine's Day? Or would that day be a bad day because people would prefer being with their partner ? What are your thoughts ?

I would avoid that weekend completely. It seems like a cute idea but since Valentine's Day is actually on a weekend day people may be planning on going out of town or spending the entire weekend with their SO.

I wanted to do mine so bad on Valentine's Day but my boyfriend told me not to because people may have plans for that day. I was bummed because I had cute ideas in mind.

We are doing a small shower on that day with family. Mostly grandma, aunts, and cousins. I don't think there's been any scheduling difficulty, plus it will be early (before the dinner dates!)
