Yesterday I had a baby shower for a good friend of mine. It was a couple of us from middle school. I have been TTC for over a year now and they all know it.  So in the middle of dinner they start telling the first time mom all these horror stories of labor and all this random stuff and how she should go natural be cause doctors and nurses don't always know what they are doing. This went on for 30 min. I finally had enough ( because what first time mom wants to be all stressed out about labor ) I said so what they are saying is don't listen to anybody that has any medical training .....

One of the girls response was like I have 4 kids how many do you have to have an opinion .... I thought that was so hurtful, the waterworks started and I left to my room .... Dinner was ruined and my feeling were hurt .... But she sees nothing wrong with her comments
