Anybody not dilated and gone into labor?

39 weeks
I was checked today and baby's head is extremely low and my cervix is soft but closed.
 Just wondering if anyone has gone into labor soon after being checked but no dilating?
I'm worried about him being so low like I'm gonna go into labor and not dilate or something. Plus I need hope haha!

3cm for almost 3 weeks and I'm getting frustrated >.<

Water broke at 40 weeks 2 days, no dilation, no contractions. Had to put me on pitocin to help dilate me, but mostly the epidural helped since it let me relax. 😊

I wasn't at my 36w check-up. 24 hours later I was holding my baby girl.

when i go to hospital i have contraction with 39 weeks but jusr open 1 cm they give me medicine to star open
