Any ladies experience ovulation cramps lasting all the way till your period?

I've been on metformin for 4 months and have had 3 periods.. First one I had cramps two weeks before my period which I thought was bcuz I was having my first period on the metformin..

Second period I didn't cramp like that.. And now I'm having cramps for almost a week now since the day I think I ovulated.. They're kinda sharp feeling cramps in mostly my left ovary area..
