Vasectomy

Any other mommies who's partners are planning a vasectomy? I'm 29 and my fiance is 39. He decided that this was his last kid (we have his 7yo with us full time). I respect his decision to not want other children because he's going to be 40 and 2 is more than enough for us. I told him that if he really didn't want other children that he had to get a vasectomy because there's no way in hell i'm getting my tubes tied and my body can't handle birth control. He totally agrees and will go through with it a little whilr after I give birth. So I was jaust wondering if any other mommies went through this? Will he be depressed afterwards?!? Regret his decision? I'm ok with just using condoms because i'm more of a "whatever happens,happens" person. But my bf is a stressball and if I were to get pregnant after this child i'm pretty sure he would lose his mind hahah
