Did your kids...?

For second timers... Or first that are going through this now: so my baby was born on the smaller side-7lbs 1o he is only 3 weeks 4 days and around 10 lbs already. I was wondering if anybody else had crazy rapid growth like this? He's exclusively breast fed. I wa put on a feeding schedule of every 3 hours to try to make sure I'm not over feeding him and he still gains an average of 9 oz in 5-6 days. Anyways I'm just curious did your kids fit into their size 0-3 till they were actually 3 months or close like 2-1/2 I know that most brands size 0-3 go up to 12.5 lbs if that's the case I highly doubt he'll fit into it by 3 months unless he slows down quickly! Lol anyone else have any advice on this matter? Thanks in advance.

0-3 will be for about that range but I wouldn't go to 6m yet see if 3m fits first. Mine wore that size until 5m

That's totally normal! Feed baby when he's hungry. Some babies are just bigger. The growth will slow down eventually.

Mine was the same weight when he was born and I am pretty sure that he was close to 12.5 pounds by the time he was three-four months. He always outgrew his onesies the month before  the age range. So at about 2.5 months he was wearing three months.

My baby was born at 8lbs and then grew at a very steady average rate, so he almost always wore the size that matched his age. Then at about a year he got really tall so he's been wearing about a size ahead for some things. My nephew who is just a little younger was born at about 7.5 lbs and grew like yours, sometimes almost a pound a week! He outgrew his 3 months stuff probably by 2 months, but now is average weight and a little on the short side.  It can be frustrating that it's so hard to predict...
