Getting child vaccinated ?

I've been seeing this every where. Do people really think that NOT getting their child vaccinated is a good idea?

I dont get why some people don't vaccinate their children. It is selfish and really irresponsible

Just as with any decision, as a parent, each should do their own research.  It's not irresponsible if you choose not to.  Following mainstream media and listening to every "medical" person that has only been taught to be pro vaccination is obviously going to point you right back to vaccinating.

Do actual book research at the library, not just internet.

Lastly, my decision was NEVER because of autism.  That ship has sailed a long time ago and there's much more important issues with vaxes than autism.  That would be the first bit of info someone would figure out if they did research instead of jumping on the pro vaccine bandwagon.

I don't care if a parent chooses to Vax or not vax....but it definitely shouldn't be forced.  Just as with any medical decision, the parent should have the right to make for themselves and.their children.

As much as I hate when my daughter gets her vaccines I know it's what is best for her. I'm fully vaccinated, her daddy is fully vaccinated, and she (and any future siblings) will be as well.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I heard the doctor that came up with this theory that vaccines cause autism was wrong had no proof and lost his medical licence, but again I'm not sure if that's true, but I will be vaccinating

Not this again. Not all children should be vaccinated at the same time... Get over it.

Doctors aren't even in agreement about which vaccines are necessary, they don't all agree on timing either. But unless you know your doctor well they won't tell you that because it is a liability issue. My doctor flat out told me that Prevnar-13 is a new vaccine and we are unaware of the long term effects. Thanks but I don't need my child to be the test dummy.

Some doctors don't recommend the Flu Vaccine to healthy children and adults because our immune systems are designed to fight it. The choice when to vaccinate is between the doctor and parent's.

My step son and my son are definitely vaccinated. I really don't understand why parents don't do it, especially when it comes to preventing diseases that are deadly. Not vaccinating yourself, or your children, put other people at risk to can't vaccinate. When I have more kids, hopefully soon, they will be vaccinated as well.

A lot of people believe that the amount of other chemicals cause children to become autistic amoung many other things with the rise in diagnosed children they just don't see the simple fact that even 10years ago drs didn't know as much about all these different conditions so while there were most likely just as many I'll children then they didn't have the knowledge we do today to be able to say for sure that's what it is. On a side note a lot of moms give me crap saying if your child's vaccinated then why are you concerned about mine not being, simple answer, there are many children who can't be vaccinated out there and why should they not be aloud to go out into the public for fear that your choice for your child will potentially kill their child? There was a case a few yrs back I believe that a new mother let someone close to her and their child visit and the new baby ended up contracting a disease that it was to young to be vaccinated for yet and died. I believed they tried to charge the other mother with the death as she felt that she shouldn't have to disclose her personal choice for her child to the new mother thus causing the child's death. Hot topic for sure but obviously we've survived for many many years with the vaccines we normally receive
