Question

I am a supervisor for an after school program. I'll be 29 weeks tomorrow and part of my job includes walking around a lot, and lately I've been getting sharp pains when I walk too much. My boss said " I know you're pregnant, but you need to be more involved."

1. He's never there to see how involved I am

2. Is that not a form of discrimination?

I'm just so annoyed with his comment

He has a point if you're there getting paid to do a job you need to be consistent. Now if he isn't even there to see the way you work then j would privately discuss with him what suggestions he has for you to improve your work performance he might be seeing something you don't during the time he is there. It's not discrimination for him to tell you to be more active at work just because you're pregnant. Many women work til the day they deliver unless you have a doctors note with limits on you carrying out tasks I think you need to talk with him privately about what his reasoning is.
