Pelvis Problems...

Marissa
At my 37 week appointment today, my doctor checked my dilation. She said she had a hard time getting around my pelvic bone to check. She then went on to say that she was a bit worried that my son wouldn't be able to get his head underneath it during birth, which would mean I'd need a C-section. We won't know if it's necessary until we get to that point in labor. I asked her what she meant by my pelvis being "hard to get around," but she said she didn't know how to explain it.  I'm guessing if it was just small, then she could easily explain that.  Instead, it sounded like it is awkwardly placed? I've had lots of pain in my pelvic region and thighs when walking, switching positions in bed, and lifting my legs to put on pants. I just thought it was part of late pregnancy. Has anyone else gotten this response from their doctor? Did you need a C-section? Feeling the same pelvic pain?
